A few new images from my shoot with Madeleine Salgado in Barrio Logan.
@alyshanett
Here are a few images from my shoot with Madeleine Salgado when we went wandering around Barrio Logan.
Alysha sent me a text: "are you allergic to bees?" These flowers at her place were in full bloom and she wanted to shoot with them but there were bees also enjoying them. It was a great shoot with no bee stings!

Nicole and I went of a trip to the Glamis Sand Dunes to shoot for a client and took some time at the last light of day to capture these. I like how the black and white conversion emphasizes the shadows across the sand patterns.

New work with Alysha! She styled these overalls designed by the street artist Buff Monster with a Supreme shirt and some brand new white Lugz. The monochrome look sent us out to search for a clean white wall to add to the stark look of the styling. I knew of a spot in my neighborhood and we captured these shots.

Here is another look that Kendall and I shot in Arts District Los Angeles. We had fun experimenting with the environment and her styling. Looking forward to the chance to collaborate again!

Here are some images from another session with Alysha. We were driving around the neighborhood and she luckily spotted this wall full of flamingos. Alysha is also a photographer so it is always great to work with her since she has a great eye for locations and light. Styling by Alysha. Photos by me.

I met up with Kendall Tash of MSA Models Los Angeles and Willow Models in Arts District for a test shoot earlier this year. We wandered around and shot a few looks in some cool spots around the neighborhood. We also scored some Stumptown chocolate cold brew to top off a successful shoot!

My friends got me a Fuji disposable camera for my birthday last year to take on my trip to Japan. I just got it developed and am really pleased with some of the results! I am definitely going to buy some more for future trips. They are light, cheap and you don't have to worry about them getting broken or stolen. And once you get around to developing them you might get some unexpected magic.
Shout out to George's Camera in North Park for the developing and sweet prints!
Here are a couple images from my first shoot with Alysha Nett. We connected on Instagram and realized we were both in San Diego and decided we needed to collaborate. I really like how these came out! Alysha was great to work with and I'm looking forward to working with her in the future.

Nicole and I have been talking about doing a desert trip since we first met. We were able to get some great brands to jump on board with an epic coast to desert road trip idea where we would shoot all along the way.
Here are the images from Salvation Mountain. Nicole is wearing Redwolf.
For the first sunset of the new fall season Nesha, Nicole and I wandered around Ocean Beach and shot around the coast.
Nesha and I rented a studio space for the day at EQ Studios in Barrio Logan, San Diego to try out some various lighting techniques on some looks she had styled. I used a combination of Canon wireless flash units and tried out the high powered Lite Panels Astra LEDs for the first time. It was a great time experimenting with new tech and creating some images we were both really happy with! Find her on Instagram: @shotbynesha.
